How Jesus looks like?

Updated: Jan 5

There are many depictions of Jesus in art and literature, but it is not possible to know for certain what Jesus looked like. Jesus lived over 2,000 years ago, and there are no surviving portraits or photographs of Him from that time.

Many artists and illustrators throughout history have attempted to depict Jesus in various ways, but these depictions are all based on the artist's interpretation and imagination.

Some people believe that Jesus had dark skin, while others believe that he had light skin. Some people believe that he had long hair, while others believe that he had short hair.

Many people believe that Jesus looked like a typical Jewish man of his time, with dark hair, olive skin, and a beard. However, there is no way to confirm this.

The Bible does provide a physical description of Jesus in Isaiah 52:14

"But many were amazed when they saw Him: His appearance was so disfigured that He did not look like a man, and His form did not resemble a human being."

If you are a Bible believer, you will understand, when He was on earth He was 100% man and also 100% God and not handsome or good looking as some movies has portraited Him.

However, the book of Revelation 1:9-18 in the Bible describes Jesus as:

Dressed in a robe with a golden sash around his chest. The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

The description given in the Revelation is the true appearance of Jesus after His resurrection. As I saw Him in my vision has similar description to the image given above.
